The Chamber of Commerce is a partnership of businesses and professional people coming together to make Gladwin County a better place for everyone to live and work. To the public, we are Gladwin County’s Information Center.

MICHAEL MURRAY, President & Treasurer
Burkhart-Presidio Insurance
Michael was born and raised in Gladwin County. He graduated from Beaverton High School and earned his Bachelor Degree from Alma College. Michael is a producer at Burkhart-Presidio Insurance, is involved in the GBPA, and spends his free time playing golf.
WHITNEY KING, Secretary

Whitney graduated from Beaverton High School in 2011. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Saginaw Valley State University in 2015. She is employed at Burkhart-Presidio Insurance Company. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, Mason and Miles.
JENNIFER FEUERSTEIN, CPA, Director
Heritage Tax & Accounting
Jennifer graduated from Gladwin High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting, from Northwood University. She and her husband, Tim, raised five children all graduating from Gladwin and are proud of the community they live in and belong to. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) at Heritage Tax & Accounting and enjoys being outside and a great cup of coffee.
DR. KAREN MOORE, Director

Both Dr. Karen Moore and her husband Mike are Beaverton High School graduates, and they continue to reside in Beaverton with their beloved furry companions. Karen is a dedicated community leader with an extensive academic background, having earned a Ph.D. in strategic management and leadership alongside a law degree. Her commitment to public service led her to serve two terms (so far) as the chairperson of the Gladwin County Board of Commissioners, where she actively contributes to the betterment of our community. Her passion for and dedication to the welfare of Gladwin County are evident through her unwavering support and involvement in various community initiatives such as Gladwin Rotary, Gladwin Kiwanis and the newly formed Gladwin County Community Builders.
SHANNON SIRPILLA, Director
City of Beaverton
Shannon is a versatile professional with a diverse background that includes experience in the automotive industry, higher education, and local government. A graduate of Eastern Michigan University and have utilized her education and varied experiences to make meaningful contributions in each of her roles since the early 1990s. This year marks a decade of permanent residency in Gladwin County, which further solidifies Shannon’s commitment to the local community.

Our volunteers serve our chamber by sharing their knowledge of the area with visitors. They also increase the quality of service provided in the office and create a lively welcoming atmosphere.
