Gladwin Recreation Area “The Lodge” minutes from July 14^th, 2026

Present: Dayna Fennel, Trisha LaRue, Nancy Bodnar and Carrie Will

*Dayna had a bride ask about Wi-Fi for The Lodge; we agreed that we need to contact ISP in town and ask about service.

*We all were wondering is we are writing a parks Master Plan or if there is a separate Master Plan, we would like to invite the lady from the Gladwin Conservation District to come to a meeting and see what her thoughts are a plan for the recreation area.

*Dayna’s Review: Good graduation party, booked another party from the graduation party.

*Trisha asked what the MDNR is approved for within the recreation plan, we would all like a copy of the plan.

*We decided to cancel the puzzle party.

*Can we amend the contract to add a co-signer when a rental contract is signed. Have two signatures just in case of emergency the first person cannot sign or have say for the contract.

*Ideas:

· Charcuterie class-scheduled for September 29^th 40$ per person

· Flower arrangement class with Janice Greaves from Village Flowers and Gifts-just need a date, time and cost.

· Host a Farm to Table

· Business after hours (hourly rate charged, partner with the chamber)
